*EYEBROWS*

General Information

* well groomed eyebrows enhances the beauty of the face

* gives expression to the face

*eyebrows frame and contour the face

* some eyebrows once plucked never grow back

* poorly groomed eyebrows make eyes look tired or frowning.

*  hair removal causes redness.

Weekend with my oldest granddaughter

We had such a good time together.

We made crafts and did our nails.

She is 8.

She lovvvves all mam-maw's makeup n stuff.

 She wanted little rhinestones and pink polish.

She made glitter names on hearts out of felt.

 Then I taught her how to sew.

She did a good job for her first time.

Makeup Tips~

I have been a makeup artist and hairdresser for

nearly 33 years.

I want to also share with you some 

of the things I have learned through the years,
and from my book
A Makeup Artist Notebook

I might even make a separate blog for these tips.

I have just too many hobbies and interests...

Today's tips will be on EYELINER. 

Eyeliner is defined as a means to define the eyes by painting or drawing a line close to the lashes.

Eyeliner Tips:

*bumpy eyeliner~ the lines aren't straight.

*correction method~

take a cotton swab and lightly go over

the edge to smooth it out.

blend well

reapply if necessary

You always want to make sure

that the liner is thick enough to be seen.

____________________________

Avoid brown liner pencils if the whites

of the eye tend to have a yellowish hue.

Use gray, black or midnight blue instead.

The eyes are a very sensitive area,

use a light hand when applying.

Never pull or tug at the eye area.

Hey that's just a few of many tips

about makeup that I have to share.

Remember practice makes perfect 

when applying eyeliner.

We are supposed to get snow again

I am soooooooooooo ready for spring.

I think its something like 62 days I believe

I read somewhere.

I have never been fond of winter.  I like the

season changes but the severe snow storms are

not my cup of tea.

My fav season is spring.

Well I have a new great nephew

He was born on Jan 18th 2011.

He is cute as a button.

His name is Mason

He came in this world weighing

6lbs 7 oz and he is 20 inches long.
My brother is a grandpa again
for the 2nd time.

Where did the time go....

Bear with me as I try to keep up 

with all these blogs I have...

time has simply gotten away from me!!!

One of my New Year's reso's is to make 

more time for my blogs.....

I don't usually make resolutions and if 

I do I try to keep them realistic.
I do believe making a bit more

time for my blogs is something

I can handle!
